The motor itself is pretty much the same but the 135mm required 6mm worth of spacers behind the disk which then moved the disk bolts too close to the motor cable which could potentially result in a damaged motor cable if they end up touching

All of my repetitive buyers also agreed that the 150mm dropout motor is much easier to deal with

As far as I know it fits all trek marlin frames
