Mill Bay Bead purpleMill Bay is a sheltered sandy beach on wild coastline in South Devon. It lies south from East Portsmouth and is a short ferry ride away from Salcombe. Access to the beach is from the South west coastal path. This sandy beach is popular with families and great for swimming. During low tide there are plenty of rock pools to discover. Our lovely Mill Bay bead is made with a small core of Caribbean Sea glass which is then encased a pale transparent blue
it is then swirled with a tool to create flower like patterns and swirls on the surface
I have used sea salt and sand in the acrylic paint to build the depth in the small building wave and fine poska pen to add the fine detail in the white water
These are available in 14 different transparent glass colours and can be strung on Grey or Turquoise Silk Thread
Individually hand made with love in Devon
This triangle shaped charm has equal 15mm sides and is 5mm in width
we captured this in the dramatic black and blue zig zag lines running around the bead
£5 from the sale of each of these bracelets will be donated directly to Ocean Generation
The bead has been designed around The Wave Projects logo
It has been designed to work with our range of Nalu bracelets and carriers
we’re urgently tackling the underlying causes that are driving the decline
From the estuary before the bay
Our Hampshire County Bead is made with a small core of white glass which is rolled in a shimmer mica powder before being encased on one half with a deep purple and the other a transparent bright green glass
